If you are thinking of getting a dog or want to know more about humane education, then please join Joy Randel as she chats with Noell Crosse, the Humane Education Coordinator for Contra Costa County Animal Services. Noell has been providing Humane Education programs and community outreach for Animal Services for the last 8 years.
Being a Humane Educator affords Noelle the ability to do something new every day and bring her dog to work with her as well.
Noell, along with a handful of volunteers provide humane education programs, shelter tours, a multitude of community outreach programs, fundraising, emergency preparedness training and grant writing.
The Contra Costa County Animal Services participate in emergency preparedness fairs and host informational booths to educate citizens on the importance of pet emergency preparedness. They also host mobile licensing events and offer low cost vaccinations, micro-chipping and education on the importance of spaying and neutering your pets.
